Ground lights, also known as driveway lights or recessed ground lights, are primarily used to illuminate driveways or entrances to properties. Another common application of ground lighting is to illuminate facades or any architectural elements, as well as to highlight shrubs and trees in gardens or parks. Ground lighting is suitable for embedding in hard surfaces such as cobblestones, tiles, terracotta, boards, concrete, or directly into the ground after preparing the area.
Ground lighting, especially when installed along a road where cars drive, is highly susceptible to damage. To protect driveway lighting, we use high-quality stainless steel and toughened glass, ensuring that each of our ground lights has the necessary durability to withstand a car driving over it. Toughened glass is scratch-resistant, and stainless steel protects the light from corrosion. The housing of the recessed lights is made of aluminum, and the entire assembly is placed in a mounting box, which should be installed in the previously prepared location. All our ground lights, whether for cobblestones or installed directly in the ground, have a high IP67 rating, making them waterproof.
Ground lights differ primarily in size and shape. In our range, we offer square and round recessed fixtures ranging in size from 10 to even 21 centimeters. Another element to choose from is the type of light source. There are LED ground lights, where the light source is permanently placed in the lamp, or lights for replaceable bulbs. Smaller models are equipped with GU10 sockets, and larger ones with E27 sockets.
Ground lights are suitable for embedding in hard surfaces such as cobblestones, tiles, terracotta, boards, concrete, or directly into the ground after preparing the area. Preparing the area involves providing drainage to prevent water from accumulating under the lights. All our lights are equipped with two chokes (sealed cable glands), making it easy to connect the lights side by side.
